Obituary of Kenneth P. Graper

Kenneth P. Graper, 80 longtime Oxford resident died Friday, November 4, 2016 at the Iowa City Care and Rehab Center. There will be a time of visitation from 4 to 6 pm Monday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service – Oxford Chapel. Private burial services will be held at the Washington Twsp Cemetery in rural Johnson County, right near the farm where he was born. Online condolences may be sent for his family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Ken was born August 18, 1936, near Frytown on the family farm, the son of Leo and Francis (Bacon) Graper. For many years Ken worked for Pleasant Valley as a landscaper. He had been a member of the Mustang Club and Metropolitan Car Club in this area. His family includes his daughter, Lisa Graper and her husband, Joe Fuller; granddaughter, Megan Fuller; brother, Clarence Graper and his wife, Rene; sister, Janette Miller and her husband, Don; step-sons, Tige Bourget and his wife, Holly; and Todd Graper and his wife, Nila; step-grandchildren, Brianna, Caroline, Noah and Oliver; niece, Deborah Wallis and her children, Jessie, Janelle and Ryan; nephew, Bob Miller and his wife, Ann.
