Obituary of Carl L. Berg

Carl L. Berg, 60, of Oxford, died suddenly at his home, Thursday, January 11, 2018.

Carl Leonard Berg was born January 11, 1958, in Iowa City, the son of Roy and Marilyn (Young) Berg.  Carl enjoyed things simple in life, hanging out at the Oxford Legion, “The Depot” shooting pool, playing cards, spending time with his friends and brother, Lenny.  But Carl was also gifted with the ability to do artwork, drawing, painting and other forms which he often shared with family and friends.

His family includes his three siblings, Earl Berg (Amy); Roy L. Berg III “Lenny”; and Tina Kilburg (Lynn); nieces and nephews, Heather Hassett (Ryan), Abbie Hobbick (Deke),Cory Berg (Callie), Breanna, Brooke, Trevor Kilburg and Serena Levy.  Carl was preceded in death by his parents, and his niece’s husband, Henry Levy.
