Obituary of Diana Linn Austin

Diana Linn Austin, 47 of 923 Springdale Drive, Iowa City, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following an extended illness. Private funeral services were held on Friday, September 19, 2003 at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Diana Linn Hime was born August 11, 1956 in Iowa City the daughter of Clyde B. and Margaret D. (Halstad) Hime. She graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1976. On November 1, 1999 she married Tree Austin in Springfield, Illinois. She has resided in this area all of her life. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge and Intercontinental Church of God. Her family includes her husband, Tree; son, Michael Rothwell of Iowa City; mother, Margaret McAfee of Iowa City; brothers, Claude Hime of Iowa City, and Ronnie Hime of Homestead; sisters, Carol Whestene of Iowa City, and Midge Stone.
