Megan Ciha – Support Staff
If you’ve attended a visitation or funeral at the funeral home in the past several years, you have most likely been welcomed at the door by Megan.
Megan is an Iowa City native. Growing up around the funeral home she had worked at Gay & Ciha Funeral Service during her high school years. Following graduation from Iowa City West High in 2004, she moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where she attended Cornerstone University. Megan has a passion for working with teenagers and following graduation from Cornerstone she worked at a youth residential treatment center for six years before returning to Iowa City.
Megan came back to help at the funeral home in 2014 upon her return to Iowa City. One of her favorite aspects of working at the funeral home is being able to meet families and walk along side of them through a very difficult time. She enjoys learning the memories people have of their loved ones and helping families celebrate their that life.
Outside of work Megan enjoys reading, sewing, being outside in God’s creation and spending time with her family.
