Please accept my sincerest sympathies for the loss of your dear husband. Marcia and Rick described the lovely memorial service in Bob’s honor and how large the gathering of friends and family was. What a beautiful testament to an obviously beloved man. May God bless you now and always.

I remember how kind a man Bob was and am so sorry for your loss
We are so thankful for the life of Bob. He was such an inspiration to us. We will hold fond memories of having many a brunch together in Three Oaks, MI at Viola’s. May the comfort and peace of God surround all of you.
As one of those whom Bob mentored with care and understanding, I have nothing but fond memories of our time working together as executive editors. His grace in handling of even the most challenging and frustrating situations was both a comfort and an example for me to follow. Even more enjoyable were our conversations about Bob's family's candy company where my partner and many of his family members worked when they were teenagers. But perhaps most impressive and instructive was what I learned from Bob when he retired. Instead of letting me hire him for freelance work, he left work behind and dedicated himself to enjoying life with his family. I'm sure that was a great gift that will live on in cherished memories.
Bob's name brought immediately to mind the delight he and his grandkids had walking the woods next to their home in Harbert, Michigan. Bob expressed joy with each new things he learned and praised God for creation!
