I got the chance to spend time with Gordy and he Wife probably half dozen times loved listening to his story’s about the war and the art work of the lone tree out in the valley I also was able to find him the movie pack band of brothers when he asked me if I had seen it thanks Gordy for all the memory’s at the Legion in Iowa City and At your home you also showed me the love you had for your wife
I worked at Cherry-Burrell during Gordon's tenure there also. He was someone you could count on to come through with what was needed and he did it with a smile (or maybe a funny story). God bless his sould & I send condolences to his remaining family.

My deepest sympathy for the loss of Gordon and Shirley. I worked with them as my clients and have the deepest respect for Godon's service and his devotion to Shirley. I was fortunate to know them and will always remember them.

I have had alot of times with Gordon and even at his place with him and his wife the talks we had and being able to find a movie he wanted was a joy for me also working with him as a member of the American legion we had many talks and him getting the color guard going in the area rest in piece my freind
