Carol worked with me trying to organize my office in the Lindquist Center (an impossible task) and we got a lot done by also eating lunch and just talking! The last time I saw her was at the Waterfront HyVee store with both of us promising to call and go to lunch. She was waiting for her Health Care aid.

So sorry to those who were the closest to her! What I remember most is how quick she was to laugh and how smart she was. My middle name is Carol after her, so I have always had a soft spot for her not just because of that, but because of who she was. Rest in Peace!

Aunt Carol always took her Godmother role seriously. We talked a lot and had a lot of laughs. When I made her mad she would call me Alanna Marie. But she would be motherly and comfort me and share her knowledge. We had so many great memories and pictures together. I will always love her for who she was. Please find peace in your resting place. You’re with your Mom, Dad, uncle Bud, Aunts Pat, Regina and my mom Anita and brother- in- laws and little Ethan. You will be sorely missed in our family. Love you!

Sad to hear of Aunt Carol's passing. I remember when she would play 45s (records) for me when I was about 12. She introduced to me Rock n Roll and was always so much fun to be around. I only wish I could have seen her when my brother and I visited this summer. She was in the hospital and could have no visitors. Rest in Peace Aunt Carol, you were loved.
