It is my great pleasure to know Laura and her children. You have a lot to celebrate.
Please allow me to condole with all the family and friends of Laura Stewart in the loss of one of the kindest souls I ever met. Our grief in her passing is great but I am buoyed by my many happy memories of my brief encounters with Mrs. Stewart. She was so modest, humble and welcoming. She would allow me to park my vehicle on football game days in her driveway and allow us to use her home to gather, get warm and catch up on football scores. I always enjoyed chatting with her and learning more about Bob, her granddaughters, the other members of her family, including her daughter the real estate agent and husband who played football at Toledo, and what was going on in her University Heights neighborhood. My hope is that all of the Stewart family can be heartened by knowing just how wonderful a woman Laura Stewart was. I will miss her. I will miss her a lot.
My sympathy goes out to Bobby, Lisa and their families for this great loss. You chose a wonderful photo of Mrs. Stewart, as she was ALWAYS smiling! She was such a sweet neighbor to everyone on Ridgeview Ave. She was also a dear friend of my late grandma, Lillian Yeggy.
With love from Brenda Kelch
