Susan and I were friends through high school and college. We used to hang around as a group with Anne Lamble (deceased) and Pam Bailey - I am not sure where she is now. We had so much fun and we attended Citadel Square Baptist Church and we were all in the choir. Susan was always great with music. I am so sorry that I did not get to connect after she had the stroke. Life is short here on earth but, long on the other side. I will call on her as an angel now!! God bless the family too.

First I would like to say how sorry I am and I am praying for you. I have known Susan for many years. We saw each other at break and we would talk about what books we were reading. May you have peace and rest Susan.

I knew Susan for several years at the UI School of Music, first as a Ph.D. student and later as a librarian. We has many meaningful talks about life. We has a bond in our administration of our feline housemates and our capitulation to their household management. "Resistance is futile." She was one of my favorite humans. My condolences to all who will miss her.
