Condolences
I met Barb at Her Soup Kitchen, where she was so kind and always so welcoming. She was a bright light in this world and I'm so sorry to learn of her passing. My deepest sympathy to her family and all that knew her.
My sympathies to Barb’s family. I’m very sorry for your loss. I met her when she worked at PIP. And loved visiting her at Her Soup Kitchen. She truly was meant to work with the public. Great business owner. Always a smile on her face. She was fun, & funny. Thinking of you, and your family Krista.
Dick and the entire Farnsworth family,
I am so sorry to hear the sad news about Barb. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
Every so often in our lives, shining lights come and go. I can say without hesitation that Barb was truly one of the shiniest that I had the great fortune to know (I knew her from my Pearson days, like Sue Rugger did).
She was not just one of the “good ones”…..she was definitely one of the “very best” ones.
Rest in peace, Barb - you will never be forgotten, and when I do, I’ll always remember you with a smile.
Nancy, so sorry to see this news about your sister❤️May your memories bring you comfort during this sad time.
To the family I am sorry I have known this family for years and years
My deepest sympathies to the Farnsworth family.
Barbara was a woman of fire and determination. She was loyal and offered full support to her friends and family. She will be missed. There is much to celebrate about Barbar's life!
Barb, you could light up a room when you entered. Full of positive energy and determination. With an eye for fashion and flare you could make life jump up and take notice. I will treasure all the years I’ve known you. You will be so very missed. Dick, Krista, Jason and family, my deepest sympathy. May the support and love from family and friends help you through this heavy heart.
I am so vey sorry for your loss. Barb worked with me for many years through Pip Printing. She was so upbeat and positive and always came through for us Loved her smile!! And yes, her soup kitchen was awesome. Great homemade food made with a lot of love. May your beautiful memories of Barb help you get through this!Love, Susan Rugger
Sad news. Sigh. Sending my sympathy to Dick and Jason and Krista.
Sending love to you, Krista…your mom was one of the best moms I had the honor of knowing during my years at City High. Oh how she adored you and Jason. Holding your family close to my heart as you navigate the fragile days ahead.
My sincere condolences to the Farnsworth Family. Everyone loved Her Soup and was so unhappy when it closed. Barb did her best to keep it going through Covid and ended up with a thriving catering business while still being open. I used to run into her for a chat. She and Dick had the craziest stuff happen to them. I still crave the meatloaf sandwiches and other items on the menu. This is a loss for the community.

So sorry for your loss. I loved visiting with Barb during many frequent visits to Her Soup Kitchen to enjoy the marvelous food Dick and Jason prepared. Barb was a friend to so many poeple. What a wonderful woman!
Oh Jason, Krista and Dick. This is terrible news! I'm so sorry. I always enjoyed talking to Barb. There were times when I would probably have starved if it hadn't been for Her Soup Kitchen. Please accept my deepest condolences.
Sorry to hear of Barb's passing. We always enjoyed talking to her. Your family are in our thoughts.
So sorry to hear of Barbs passing.
Deepest sympathy.

I am so sorry to see this. We got to know Barb through our many visits to Her Soup Kitchen. She always greeted us with a smile and would stop to chat about her family, and always remembered to ask after mine (and remembered details, which I know she did with many many others). Our deepest condolences to the family.
Barb and her family lived next door to my grandparents, Chuck and Margaret Gordon, and my uncle Bob Gordon. I have many fond memories, and comfort in knowing you all helped look out for Grandpa and Bob in their later years. Barb was a wonderful lady and always had a smile for everyone. Thinking of you all.-- Kapra (Gordon) Hefley
A life well lived, Barb will always be remembered as a great friend. Our condolences to Dick and their family..
Her Soup Kitchen was one of my favorite restaurants and one I frequented with dear friends and visiting family from out of town. Barb was always so friendly and the consummate hostess. She is one of those unforgettable people who brightens the lives of all she meets. Deepest sympathy to her family.
Dick, Jason and Krista, I am so sorry for your loss.
I will miss her smile and our talks. One if my favorite memories was Dick and Barbs 25th wedding anniversary. We flew to Vegas to the Little White Chapel with Elivs officiating and you renewed your vows. I got to be Barbs maid of honor. You guys were so beautiful and happy as you were 25 years earlier. What a weekend it was.
She will be in our hearts forever. We are here for you if you need anything.
