Obituary of Edna Pixley

Edna Emily Pixley was born March, 1, 1926, in Iowa City, she died Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the compassionate care of Pleasantview Home in Kalona.

Per her request, no public services will be held. If you would like to contribute to Pleasantview  Home in Kalona or the Iowa City Animal Care and Adoption Center in Edna’s memory, she would be grateful.  Edna wanted to share the following as her parting words….

Down, down, down into the darkness of the grave
