
Obituary of Diana Holt
Diana Carol Woody Holt, age 76, of Marion, passed away on April 27, 2025, at her home in Marion.
Diana was born in Burbank, CA on July 17, 1948 to Ernest Woody, Jr. and Della VanOver Woody. Diana grew up in Panorama City, CA and graduated from James Monroe High School in North Hills, CA. As a child, Diana enjoyed many memories of visiting family in the Glenwood Springs, CO area. After high school she enjoyed riding horses with friends near the Hansen Dam area in the San Fernando Valley.
Diana married and moved to Camarillo, CA in 1983 where she raised 2 children, Cory and Michelle. Diana was able to share her love of the great outdoors with her family and they spent many summers camping in places like Yellowstone, Crater Lake, Tuolumne Meadows, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks. During the winter months, Diana could be found camping with her family and friends in the Mojave Desert and enjoying all the offroad delights on an ATV.
After raising children, Diana moved to Mesquite, Nevada where she could be near her favorite place, Zion National Park. She owned horses again at this time in her life and owned a red Corvette which she enjoyed taking to car shows. Besides cars, horses and ATV’s, Diana also loved the many animals she owned over the years.
Diana enjoyed her role as Grandma to Gavin, Josh and Jordyn and spent as much time as she could being near them as they grew up.
Diana is survived by her son, Cory Freeman; and daughter, Michelle (Freeman) Irias; grandsons, Gavin Arturo Irias, Joshua Scott Irias; and granddaughter, Jordyn Marie Irias; and son-in-law, Carlos Arturo Irias. She was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Della Woody and brother, Norman Woody.
