My deepest condolences to Dee's family. I got to know Dee when she worked at Univ. of Iowa Hillcrest and I worked in the office. I remember Dee as having a ready smile and a good laugh. Dee and I both loved Czech garnet jewelry and I admired her beautiful ring filled with those little garnets, a special setting that is unique to Czech jewelry. Dee and her mother made dozens and dozens and dozens!!! of mini-sized scrumptious kolaches for my parent's 50th wedding anniversary open house. This was especially meaningful to my own mother because her grandparents were immigrants from Prague. May the memories of Dee be a blessing to her family.

I fondly remember Dee from Wickes Lumber, many years ago. Such a sweet and fun lady. My condolences.
