Obituary of Daniel L. Eldeen

Daniel “Dan” Lawrence Eldeen – son, brother, partner, and friend, passed away in Swisher, IA on August 14, 2025.

Dan was born June 26, 1966 in Iowa City, IA to Carol Maresh Aldeman and Ron Aldeman. During his life, he also lived in Colorado, Florida, and Georgia. He recently returned home to Iowa, the state he loved the most.

He was a fan of cold weather and could be found wearing shorts in sub-zero temperatures. He was a huge fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes and spent many Fall Sundays cheering them on. He will be missed.

A small private ceremony will be held for family only.
