Obituary of Diane Sorensen

Diane Jean Sorensen, age 71 of Cedar Rapids, formerly of Oxford died suddenly at her home September 4, 2025.

Diane was born October 27, 1953, in Oxford, the daughter of Peter and Dorothy (Kutcher) Sorensen.  She attended schools in Oxford, graduating with the Class of 1971 from Clear Creek High School.

Her family includes her siblings, Mike Sorensen, Steve Sorensen (Deb), Jim Sorensen, and Chuck Sorensen (Deana), and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Larry and Paul Sorensen; and sister, Mary Sue “Susie” Sorensen.

Private family services will be held with burial at the  Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Oxford.
