Obituary of Travis G Blair

Travis G. Blair, age 53, of Coralville, passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospital.  He fought multiple battles with cancer.

Travis is the son of Sally Rahde and the late Theodore Blair.  He enjoyed watching football (GO HAWKS!), trips out west, listening to music, and spending time with family.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Faith; sons: Garett (Caroline) Blair, Coy (Kaitlyn) Blair, and Micah Blair; his mother, Sally (Ron) Rahde; brothers: Josh (Megan) Blair, Lucas Blair, and Cade (Shannon) Rahde; and grandsons, Tyson and Bo, the light of his life who could always bring a smile to his face.

Travis would say: “Work hard and do things the right way to get where you’re going, but don’t let it consume you.  Family, friends, and life are most important.”

A Celebration of Life will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Friday, September 12, 2025 in the Red Timber Frame Barn at Celebration Farms, 4696 Robin Woods Lane NE, Iowa City.
