Obituary of Theresa M Fry

Theresa M. Fry, age 73 of Burlington died Saturday, November 1, 2025, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

Theresa Marie Chvosta was born February 22, 1952, in Hartford, Wisconsin the daughter of Bernard and Louise (DeCook) Chvosta.  Growing up there she attended schools graduating from Hartford Union High School.  She married Michael R. Fry on September 5, 1970, in Denmark, Iowa.  The couple made their home in Burlington, where they raised their son, Ryan.  Theresa enjoyed much in her life, the titles of Mom and Grandma were the best!  She was not a shy soul; she loved her family and friends. As a member of the VFW, Ladies Auxiliary, Moose, Eagles and Am. Vets she got her fill of the social life.  She also enjoyed crocheting and reading but nothing was more important than her family.

Her family includes her son and his wife, Ryan and Nichole Fry; grandchildren, Zachary and Brianna.  Her parents, husband, Michael; 2 brothers, 1 sister and her furry friend, Benlee her dog all preceded her in death.
