Makenda, my shipmate, I first want to say my condolences to the family and everyone close to her. I first met her in bootcamp and that smile was very sweet and contagious. I remember the few talks we had when I kept getting upset that I gained weight lol and you’ll always be like girllll you look amazing. Stop tripping… I was super shocked and upset when I learned what happened.. God is always good and you are in greater place.. Stay sweet Angel. Rest in heaven babygirl. Thank you for the laughter and memories. You always had the biggest smile and kept such positive vibes. I’ll miss our days in the locker room getting ready for the longest shifts ever and your little laughter through the halls. You are missed more than you can imagine. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones.

I still remember the very first day we met during P-Days in bootcamp. From that moment on, I knew God placed you in my life for a reason. I am forever grateful for every memory, every laugh, and every moment we shared. You were the sweetest person, inside and out.

I am so sorry this happened to you, Noely. I pray God welcomes you with open arms and continues to guide and protect your family during this incredibly hard time.

Noely Makenda, I have so many memories of you—memories that will live with me forever. You were my twin then, and you are my twin forever. I never in a million, never in a billion years thought I’d be writing this. You did good, and I am so proud of you.

Noely my shipmate, my friend , my sister, I’m so blessed to have got to met you in this life, you didn’t deserve this Noely, It feels like yesterday we were walking to swim class and talking about how we really want to make our families proud and happy of us. Oh my gosh you were such a sweet soul I swear not a day goes by that I don’t think of that beautiful laugh , what I would give to hear you pick up your phone and just laugh with so much laughter, If Only you could see the Impact You Have On Everyone , I know that beautiful smile Is going to light up the gates of Heaven. Til next time we meet!

My sincere condolences to the family and specially to Fanfan Makenda

I am deeply saddened to learn of the tragic passing of our brave daughter. I have seen this couple, parents, get married and have the fruit of their womb. As immigrants, they chose to give the best they could to America and send their kids to protect the integrity and leadership of the US worldwide.

I assume our daughter could be now in the deep waters, on one of the ships fighting for American interests, but gone when it should not be.

For the family of Lord`s servants, The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away; Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
