Obituary of Lori K. Hook

We would like to share and celebrate the beautiful life of Lori Kay Hook, who passed away on February 4th, 2026, surrounded by her beloved sisters and brother.

Lori, the daughter of Gene and Sharon Kiolbasa, was born on July 15th, 1958, in Grand Island, Nebraska. Lori brought joy, love, and laughter into our lives.

Lori was a warrior in every sense, facing life's challenges with grace and strength. Lori loved singing, going on road trips, watching old classic movies that she collected, and cuddling up with her dog, Hope. Most of all, Lori loved her family. She loved spending time with family and goofing around with her great nieces and nephews. Lori could always put a smile on your face.

Lori is preceded in death by her mother and father, Gene and Sharon Kiolbasa. Husband, Tom Hook, Daughter Amanda, Son Jim, and her fun-loving, spirited godson, Casey Peterson.

Lori didn't just walk through life; she danced through it, to the beat of her own drum. To honor her memory, turn up your favorite song, share a laugh, and let the good vibes flow.
