Condolences
Dear Moss family: Sympathy to all of you. Steve was an awesome guy and I had many great conversations with him throughout the years at North Dodge. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten, because of the memories he left behind. I hope that the full life he led, his many accomplishments, will in some way lessen the pain of his passing.
Sonja, Sandy and I are so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I think Jon Marks first introduced me to Steve when we moved to Iowa City in 1973 and throughout the years of wrestling, softball, and business Steve was always someone who was so enjoyable to talk with and quick to make me laugh. He was a great guy and I know he will be greatly missed by many people. Our sincerest condolences to you and your family.
Sonja, Sarah and the Moss family.
Steve was a good friend. He was cheerful and welcoming to our family whenever we crossed paths. We were greatly saddened upon learning of his passing.
Please allow us to offer our condolences to you all.
Todd, Denise and the rest of the Ajax family.
Dear Sonya & Moss Family,
I just learned of Steve’s death and am so sorry. We met in the Iowa City Army Reserve unit (1st Battalion, 410th Infantry) and became friends. His love of sports and spirit of life matched mine. We did have fun! It was in the late 70’s, I think, when Steve and I were unceremoniously banned from the Fort McCoy Wisconsin Officers Club. Believe it or not, it was my fault, but Steve had my back the whole way. I wonder if we’re still on the bad boy list? While I’ve been gone from Iowa City for a long time, Steve remained my friend and I will miss him. RIP, Steve.
Dear Sonya and Moss family,
We send our deepest condolences. Steve was such a good guy. We have fond memories of him.

One of my fondest memories of Steve was joining North Dodge and being shown the facilities
by the owner himself. Steve showed great interest in the people who were members of the gym.
My wife Jane was also very fond of Steve as he was always very kind to her. Steve will be missed
by us both and the early morning gym crowd.
He was friends with my mom and dad. We wish you the best.

Sure thinking of you Sonya-Steve was always nice to me-and my daughter -Kelli haught-I appreciated Steve’s interest in all city high sports stuff and I remember sitting with his mom at some events!
My deepest sympathies to the Moss Family. Steve was a remarkable man and a great friend. He will be missed by the many people whose lives he touched. Rest In Peace.
Sonya, Sarah, and family,. You have my sympathy. Lots of memories of my days at NDAC
My deepest sympathy to Sonya and family. I first met Steve at North Dodge Athletic Club. My husband knew Steve in the Musco electrical trade. I was working out and he asked Mike who was that girl working out. Mike told him it was his wife. Later Steve asked me to join his poker group and I was the only woman allowed in the group. He was the only man maybe one other that didn’t swear at me. What a gentleman. I will miss you Steve at the poker table. Mike and Gail Maher
