I will always remember Ruth’s gentle quiet spirit and her sweet smile. She had the gift of hospitality and I have fond memories of many Sunday dinners around their table with college students. She was always ready to help in any way. My sincere sympathy to Steve and all the family. Dee Piercy

The Crows have been friends since 1967 when we moved to Iowa City. Ruth had a gift of hospitality. We will miss you Ruth but I know Karen and Lynn are glad to have you home with them. We will meet again in the sweet by and by.

My Brother and I started attending Church of the Nazarene in Iowa City when we were in grade school. Dr. & Mrs. Crow were a strong part of the Church's foundation. They have always been involved in the various classes and activities in the Church.

Mrs. Crow has always made me feel loved, just like I was back in grade school. I love Mrs. Crow so much! She has been an amazing servant and even though I will miss her on earth, I know that she is rejoicing with God, Jesus, her husband and daughter at this very morning. I love you, Mrs. Crow.

Aunt Ruth - I have so many good memories of laughter with family at all of the Thanksgivings that you and Uncle Lynn hosted. I know you’re at peace now with your husband and children. You were an amazing woman and you’ll be so missed by all.

I met Lynn and Ruth when I began going to the Church of the Nazarene. Lynn taught the Adult Sunday School Class, and Ruth helped. They almost never missed.

Ruth was a gentle soul, and loved by many. I often wonder what happened to the little stool she used in the Sanctuary, because her legs were too short to touch the floor..

I have thought about Lynn and Ruth throughout the years. We now belong to a different church, and have become friends with their son, Steve and his wife Jennifer.

I met Ruth and Dr. Crow when I started coming to The Church of the Nazarene. Ruth was the sweetest person to meet. Ruth you'll be missed dearly.
