I worked with Amy on Mother Baby side by side we worked our butts off, but had fun doing it. It was refreshing to see that Amy cared for the patients so much that she would go out of her way to make sure all there needs were met, even behind the scene. She set a great example for me as well when I first came to MB.
Amy was also a great friend she gave me a ride home when I found out that my house had just burned.
After I left MB she still called and we chatted for an hour or better each time. Many years later I had lost a promotional job, she would just call and keep checking up on me during a time when I felt lost.
She was proud of her family and her love for Scott, Shelby and Riley really showed. When she spoke about Morgan I could feel her love and pain.
My heart hurts to know she is gone. I wished I would have seen her the past few years instead of phone calls. You always think you have time.
I will find peace in knowing that she will be with her mother, Morgan and Riley.
