My heart goes out to the family of Doug Braun. I had the pleasure of being trained by Doug at Beauty Care on 3rd shift from 2016 to 2019. I definitely have some funny and very fond memories of him. He was quite the jokester and made for some entertaining stories.
Doug could hardly go a week without sneaking up to the mezzanine so he could watch first hand the reaction of his peers from him prank phone calling them and asking them about their " egg roll order".
I can't even begin to tell you the amount of times I heard him try to convince upper management into opening a facility in Hawaii and beg them to send him there. I mean he would go as far as to tell them our Down Time never would have happened if we were in Hawaii right now. This was a constant reminder and never failed to give me a good chuckle.
You would always see him in the distance practicing his golf swing. He always enjoyed creating challenges and making bets. For example, making a cap through the loop into the Gaylord. The whole crew would take on the challenge. He would make bets like that load beam is twice as tall as I am. He would take the cash bets and measure it. The challenges were almost an every night occurrence.
He could turn every conversation into a dramatic entertaining story. I remember a month's span of him talking about his neighbor taking a parking spot in front of the house. It was always funny to hear him go on about it. The same with trainings and or conversations with management. He would bedazzle the whole thing and just make it interesting.
I have missed him ever since he left Beauty Care. I know he loved his family and he will truly be remembered.

Prayers and thoughts to Cindy and the entire Braun family. I was a good friend of Doug’s and classmate in the class of 1979. He was a good man with a good comment and smile every time I saw him.
