My heart goes out to Chris' family. It is never easy to lose a loved one. Chris was a very smart, loving person. He was friend, brother, family to us all; our kids even referred to him as "uncle". Although his depature leaves a void in our hearts, he will not be forgotten. May God grant you all peace and comfort at this time. We rest in the knowledge that we will see Chris again. The Bible says in Revelation 21:4- "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever."
It is still hard to believe you’re gone, bro. You are gone too soon. For the short years that I have come to know you, you were a class act. I will forever cherish you. You may be gone, but you will never be forgotten. We will not forget your famous words. Peace and love! Rest easy, my friend. See you in Zion!
It is so hard to say good to a dear loved one. Chris was a cheerful, fun loving, caring, and good friend to have. It is tough that we lost touch when I moved away from Iowa City, but I remember good times hanging out with Chris. He was the only one who could shoot pool while smoking a cigarette and I could not figure out how he could see beyond the smoke to hit the ball. He definitely brought fun vibes to a gathering and always looked forward to his cheerful spirit. I will definitely miss that and farewell to you, Chris. My sincere condolences to family for your loss as well. May God comfort you during this tough time.

So sorry for your loss Chris was so very nice, whenever I had an issue with an order and I would take it to him he would always say no problem and take care of it. He was very knowledgeable at his job and a very kind man. He will be greatly missed.
