Obituary of Daniel Lee Morgan

Daniel Lee Morgan, age 46, of 1515 Prairie du Chien Road, Iowa City died Thursday, March 31, 2005, at his home of cancer. Cremation services were provided by Gay & Ciha Funeral Service of Iowa City, memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial donations can be made in memory of Dan to Iowa City Hospice. Online condolences may be sent for Dan’s family through our website @www.gayanciha.com. Daniel Lee Morgan was born January 13, 1959, in Lincoln, Nebraska the son of Jerry D. and Lois E. (Harvey) Morgan. He had lived in Cedar Rapids the last number of years. Here he drove a taxicab, which he had done most of his adult life. One of Dan’s joys was that he wrote poetry. His family includes his mother, Lois Morgan of Knoxville, IA; sister, Kimberly Morgan of Iowa City and a brother, David Morgan and his wife, Lori of Knoxville; two nieces, Samantha and Rachel Morgan of Knoxville, and many friends. He will be missed by so many. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Morgan. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Dan’s family and his services.
