Obituary of Rosella Jean Keeton

Rosella J. Keeton, age 81 of Hiawatha, formerly long-time resident of Iowa City died Saturday, August 12, 2023, at the Hospice House in Hiawatha.

Rosella Jean Halstead was born May 19, 1942, in Iowa City, the daughter of Craig and Esther (Hall) Halstead. She married Henry B. Keeton on September 12, 1998, in Iowa City.  Rose raised her family, cared for Henry and for a number of years worked in housekeeping in various jobs in the area.

Her family includes her children, Dorothy Rainbolt, Pauline Lint, Pamela Cook, Cherie Clyde and Glenna Vineyard; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son, John Cook and daughter, Lynda Vineyard.
