Obituary of Mary V. Wymore

Mary V. Wymore, 88 formerly of Iowa City died Monday, July 9, 2007, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness. Private family services will be held at Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Iowa City Hospice. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City in charge of the arrangements. Mary Virginia Brown was born February 3, 1919, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa the daughter of Ray and Marie (Van Brussel) Brown. She graduated with her B.A. Degree from Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant in 1940. She married Keith A. Wymore July 15, 1944, in Bordentown, NJ. The couple had lived in Iowa City since 1960's. Keith died March 16, 1998. Her family includes her children, Michael Wymore of Phoenix, AZ; Alan Wymore of Chicago, and Patricia Wymore of Riverside, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister.
