Obituary of Vivian Ruth Morrow

Vivian Ruth Morrow 56, of 1506 McKinley PL., Iowa City, died Wednesday, April 02, 2008 at her residence due to a sudden illness. A private gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date with Gay and Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City. Vivian was born October 27, 1951 in Washington, Iowa the daughter of Hiran Robert and Margaret Jane (Bone) Morrow. She graduated from Montezuma High in 1969, after high school she received her Associates of Arts degree from Marshalltown Community College. In 1993 Vivian graduated from the University of Iowa with her BSN. She became a registered nurse with Mercy Hospital of Iowa City, after 25 years she transferred to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center where she has been for the past 5 years. In the recent years Vivian had been attending the University of Iowa as a Graduate Student for her Masters in Nursing. Most of all Vivian loved animals, was a great nurse, loyal friend and a devoted mother. Her family includes daughter Cassandra Matthews of Vienna, VA. She was preceded in death by her father.
