Obituary of Avery Marie Kochan

Avery Marie Kochan, infant daughter of Rob and Jeanie Kochan of rural Swisher, went home to be with our Lord, Wednesday, May 21, 2008. A service to celebrate Avery’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 24, 2008, at Grace Community Church in North Liberty. Following these services a picnic will be held at the church to remember this beautiful child, a child of God. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Avery’s memory. Online condolences may be sent to her family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Avery Marie Kochan was born at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City on August 19, 2006, the daughter of Robert M. Kochan and Jeanie M. Long Kochan. Along with her parents, her family includes her two loving brothers, Tate and Austin; grandparents, Robert and Janet Long of Iowa City, and Frank and Carol Kochan of Lisle, IL; great-grandmothers, Maurine Haberman of Iowa City, Mary Long of Rockford, IL, and Violet Alltop of Ashland, OH; Avery’s aunts and uncles, Kevin and Cindy Sulwer of North Liberty, Chris Kochan of North Liberty, and Jeff Long of Silverthorne, CO; and her three cousins, Kyle, Megan and Carly Sulwer.
