Obituary of Larry M. Betts

Larry M. Betts, 65 of 198 First Street, Coralville died Friday, May 23, 2008, at his home from natural causes. A gathering for Larry’s family and friends will be held from 2 to 6pm Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Burial will take place at a cemetery in Mt. Auburn, Iowa at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in his memory to Make a Wish Foundation. Online condolences may be sent for his family through the web @ www.gayandciha.com. Larry was born May 13, 1943, in Osage, IA the son of Marshall and Arvada (Naber) Betts. His family moved to the Iowa City area while he was young, he attended City High School here. For many years he worked at the Veterans Administration Hospital and later at Goodwill. Larry enjoyed Harley Davidson Motor Cycles, his many friends, family and a simple life. His family includes many aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
