Obituary of Della M. Lovetinsky

Della M. Lovetinsky, 76 of rural West Branch died Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at her home. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Family graveside services will be held later at Oakland Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in her memory to Iowa City Hospice. Della Margaret (Fountain) Lovetinsky was born April 27, 1932, in rural Johnson County near Lone Tree, Iowa, the daughter of Alonzo and Hazel (Thomas) Fountain. Following graduation from Lone Tree High School she was united in marriage to Calvin F. Lovetinsky on December 31, 1951, in Iowa City. The couple has farmed on the family farm since their marriage. Here she enjoyed her garden and flowers. Her family includes her husband, Calvin; daughter, Lisa Nearad and her husband, Kurt of Swisher; son, Lynn Lovetinsky and his wife, Tonya of West Branch; and four grandchildren, Dale Nearad, Josey Nearad, Collin Lovetinsky and Kaitlyn Lovetinsky. She was preceded in death by her parents.
