Obituary of William S. Lupo, Jr.

William S. Lupo Jr., 62, of Oxford, IA died Friday, January 30, 2009 at his home due to an extended illness. William was born April 20, 1946 in Covina, CA to William and Ester Lupo. He graduated from Covina High School and later joined the Army. William worked as a truck driver for McFarland Truck Lines out of Austin MN. He was a member of the American Legion, loved hunting, his two German Shepherds Duke and Heidi, going to the casino, and trucking with his semi Miss Petey, He will be greatly missed by all of his good friends. His family includes his significant other Diane Englert, step-daughter Mechelle (Chris) Jones of Chesterfield, VA; grandkids Brandon and Jessica Jones both of Chesterfield, VA; step-mother Loraine Lupo of Porterville, CA and Loraine’s family. William was preceded in death by his mother and father. Cremation services were provided by Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. No other services are planned.
