Support for Native American Culture and Education became an important focus for her. Playing games, dress up, and active sports with her grandchildren Max Kolder, Steven Madsen, Sarahann Kolder, Alice Kolder, and Joshua Madsen were some of the ways she expressed her great love for them. Her brothers Hans Fleischmann (Heide) and Werner Fleischmann in Austria shared her zest for life. Anna found the second great love of her life in Karl Christiansen and they sailed through life together for fifteen years. She welcomed everyone into her home and around her table, including many foreign students. Her sparkling energy and gift for caring and nurturing others touched countless lives.
