Obituary of Megan Mary Bohlke

Megan M. Bohlke, 25 of Iowa City died Tuesday, June 16, 2009. A gathering of family and friends to remember Megan will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Megan Mary Bohlke was born February 14, 1984, in Iowa City the daughter of Daniel K. and Roxanne R. (Grave) Bohlke. She attended schools in Iowa City graduating with the Class of 2002 from West High School. In school she was involved with orchestra, band, and theater. She has always been a voracious reader, had such a creative passion for art and theater, and when she carried a purse, it always had her dog, Leela, inside! Her family includes her parents, Dan & Roxanne; sister, Allison at home in Iowa City; grandparents, Norma and Virgil Grave of Lake Park, IA; Aunts and Uncles, Mary Bohlke of Story City, IA, Jeanne Bohlke of Peaceful Valley, CO, Elizabeth Golden of Parker, CO, Rob and Sarah Bohlke of Roland, IA, David Bohlke and Brian Kim of Honolulu, Hawaii, and Kraig Grave of Brewster, MN; cousins, Kathleen Bohlke, Patrick Ryon, Amy Ryon, Emma Perry, Jackie Grave, and Jessica Grave. Megan was preceded in death by her grandparents, Kenneth and Kathleen Bohlke. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Megan’s family and her services.
