I was sorry to learn of Louie's death. My parents were such good friends of Gladys and Louie, and lots of memories in good ol' Oxford. I am sorry I was unable to attend the funeral. Thoughts and prayers are with you, Larry and Linda and your families.

We were saddened to hear of Louie's death while we were in TX. Perhaps we were in a few spots where he used to travel. Carol especially, was ready to share her latest fishing stories with him! And ask if he'd heard if the ice was out at Kent Park and when he thought the crappies might bite... May the Lord fill the void in your lives with His comfort and love,

I had the privlege of working with Louie at the University for many years and counted him as a friend as well. My prayers and sympathies go out to his family.

Louis was a great man and was loved by all. I'm so very sorry for your loss and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone. He was always a happy person and his attitude put joy in everyone's hearts and a smile on their face.

We have fond memories of Uncle Louis and Aunt Gladys visiting us in Stone Mountain, Georgia many years ago. Roy and Uncle Louis went to church that Sunday and he graced us with his singing . Roy still talks about it. We are glad that we were able to spend some time with him at the Acord reunion this last summer. Uncle Louis will be greatly missed. Our condolences are extended to Linda and Larry and their families.
