Obituary of Lena C. Schroder

Lena C. Schroder, 85 of North Liberty died Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown, Iowa. Private family services will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Schroder on May 23, 1944 in Easton, PA. The couple lived in Pennsylvania for many years before moving to this area in 1986. Lena enjoyed playing bingo, and crocheting. Her family in includes her children, Ed Schroder (Ginny) of North Liberty; Alfonso Schroder of Marshalltown; Lorraine Paugh (Larry) of Mt. Morris, PA; and Carolyn Lyons (Carl) of Breinigsville, PA; 14 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great- grandchildren; brother, Charles Salvaggio (Marie) of Pensacola, FL; and sister, Decca Frey of Easton, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, brother, Frank, and sister, Josephine. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service is caring for Lena’s family and her services.
