Obituary of Vera Shelton

Vera Shelton, 83 of Iowa City died of cancer Friday, June 4, 2010 at her home in Iowa City. She was a long time member of the Mercy Guild. Vera is survived by her sister, Suzie Sidel of Germany; daughter, Rhonda Kennedy of Florida; and two granddaughters, Ashley and Tiffany. Vera was preceded in death by her husband, Walter and her daughter, Phyllis Shelton-Ball. At Vera’s request no services are planned. Memorials may be made in Vera’s memory to Iowa City Hospice.
