Obituary of William A. Anhalt

William A. Anhalt, 56 of Washington died Tuesday, October 19, 2010, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City following a stroke. William was born February 7, 1954, in Burlington the son of Phillip and Jean (Bischoff) Anhalt. For many years he has worked in this area as a draftsman & designer in the construction field. His family includes two children, Joshua Anhalt (Trista) of Cedar Rapids; and Katelyn Anhalt of Cedar Rapids; one granddaughter, Aviva; brother, Tom Anhalt of Burlington, and a sister, Linda Davis of Cedar Rapids; along with a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Vicky Richards, and a niece, Amy Davis. A gathering celebrating William’s life will begin at 6 p.m., Thursday, October 28th at the 4th.
