Condolences
I read on-line of Samuel's passing. My sincere sympathies. May the love of family and friends comfort you in your grief.
In the bottom of an old pond lived some grubs who could not understand why none of their groups ever came back after crawling up the stems of the lilies to the top of the water. They promised each other that the next one who was called to make the upward climb would return to tell what happened to him. Soon one of them felt an urgent impulse to seek the surface; he rested himself on the top of a lily pad and went through a glorious transformation which made him a dragonfly with beautiful wings. In vain he tried to keep his promise flying back and forth over the pond. He peered down at his friends below. Then he realized that even if they could see him they would not recognize such a radiant creature as one of their number.
The fact that we cannot see our loved ones or communicate with them after the transformation, which we call death, is no proof that they cease to exist. -Walter Dudley Cavert (used with permission)

I remember when Sandra and I were with him in the hospital how alert he was and how he watched us with intent! Also the last memory i have with my miracle man was the night before he went to Jesus we watched the Sunday Night Football game together the Steelers vs the Ravens. It was a great night one that I will never forget!!!!
Cory, we Pantry workers caught the announcement of little Samuel's passing in the paper, and those of us who remember your early-hour volunteering were so saddened. In his picture, Samuel looks to be a beautiful, plump little cherub, and I am sure he is a happy baby now as he was when he was with you and Sandra and his sibs. Blessings on you all--Polly

Dear Sandra and Cory,My heart aches just trying to imagine what a difficult time you must be going through. May God our Father ease the pain as you keep trusting Him. One day we will understand why. May God Bless you and draw your family closer than ever. Much love,

I was very sorry to read the notice of your son Samuel's passing. Sincerely, Robert Sweet
I want to linger here and pray for you and your family. What a beautiful peaceful and loving little baby in the photo. I was raised with my 5 sibblings in a tiny home in Tiffin. Many family are still there and those who are not still call Tiffin home. My only connection is with the town we share. My wife and I have 4 children also. We believe all children are a blessing for no matter how long we are graced with them. I know the Chia family business very well and you are in the best of hands. My family rests in the Tiffin Cemetery as well. May God bless and keep you safe.
I am so sorry for your loss, I am keeping your family in my thoughts & prayers.
My heart and prayers go out to you in your time of loss. My our Papa be with you and your family.
My heart breaks for you with this loss. It is one no parent should have to bear. Please know your family is in my thoughts.
