Obituary of Mildred O'Harra

Her family includes two brothers, William J. O’Harra of Iowa City, and Irving A. and his wife, Margaret O’Harra of Iowa City; nieces and nephews, Robert Stephen of Minneapolis, MN, William Stephen of Dexter, MI, Margaret Ann Stephen Likert of Ann Arbor, MI, Margaret O’Harra Helble of Iowa City, Dale O’Harra Wenburg of Sheridan, WY, and Brian O’Harra of Iowa City. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Myrtle and her husband, Patrick Stephen, and Lillian O’Harra Conway and her husband, Jack Conway; brother, George O’Harra, and nephews, John Conway, and Fred O’Harra. Mildred was born March 25, 1910 in Iowa City the daughter of George W. and Mary Dvorak O’Harra. For nearly thirty years she was employed by Chrysler Motors in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and later as an employee at the University Of Michigan Hospital. She moved back to Iowa City in 1972, where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Memorial donations can be made to Iowa City Hospice in Mildred’s memory.
