Obituary of Dorthy T. Boyle

In honor of Dorothy’s wishes, no services will be conducted nor would she want flowers or memorials sent. She will be buried with other family members on the family lot at the Rosehill Cemetery in Rockwell City, Iowa. Dorothy was born June 22, 1910, in Dexter, Iowa the daughter of William and Minette (Morse) Boyle. She graduated from Rockwell City High School and attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. In the early 1960’s she moved to Iowa City where she worked in accounting for the University of Iowa Foundation until retiring in 1976. Dorothy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Iowa City. Those who preceded her in death include her parents, two sisters, and an infant brother.
