Obituary of Raymond Tolley

His family includes his wife Bev of Cedar Rapids, two daughters Tracy Tolley of Cedar Rapids and Charity Kennedy of Walker, six grandchildren Alexis, Angel, Chrissy and Cassie Kennedy, Weston and Destiny Dostal, one sister Bonnie and husband Roy Johnson, and one nephew Keith and wife Marli Tolley all of Richmond and one very special sister in-law “Rooster” He attended school in Richmond, Virginia and moved to Cedar Rapids in 1969. He married Beverly Schropp on August 22, 1970 in Cedar Rapids. Ray work for the Martin Marietta Corporation for thirty four years. He was a lead man at the quarry and a member of Teamster Local 238. Ray was a fan of NASCAR as well as local dirt track racing; he liked to travel and enjoyed his vacations. He spent many hours on his computer playing internet pool with family and friends. Ray will be remembered for the love he had for his family, his grandkids were his pride and joy. He will be missed by his family and friends. Memorials may be given to the Raymond Tolley memorial fund
