To the family of Denise, I am very sorry to hear of Denise's passing. What a wonderful, kind, gentle and sweet person she was. She will be greatly missed by the many people whose path she crossed. She was always such a happy person and talented in many ways. You will miss her much. ....and yes, as others have said, gone too soon.

Denise always went above and beyond to help others. Even when you could tell that she was swamped with work, she would still drop what she was doing to help others. Dear Family & Friends of Denise, I am genuinely sorry for your loss. Denise will always be remembered for her warm & friendly personality. She was always willing to help in such a caring & pleasant way, even if it was just answering a question. Mercy hospital will have a void without her kind & gentle presence. Denise always made time in her day to stop in and see my wife for those too many times she was there. It always perked up her days there.

She will always be remember by so many of her friends and her thoughts will live on in those memories. I was at Mercy for 40 years in OB and knew Denise first in CS. She was always so helpful and had that beautiful smile. I was around when Kelsey was born and we often talked of those struggles. I have known Denise since her college years as she was the "baby" of our Chicago friends/family. She was a beautiful person and had an amazing sense of fun (remembering a particular camping trip in Brown County) despite facing some of life's most difficult challenges. Her sudden passing is a tragic shock and my heart and prayers go out to all who will love and miss her always, but somehow knowing that she's reunited with Kelsey, Bruce and her Dad will hopefully bring some peace and comfort.
