Obituary of Tammy Delaney
Tammy L. Delaney, age 35 of North Liberty died Friday, January 2, 2004, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics from injuries received in an auto accident near North Liberty on December 18, 2003. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, January 5, 2004, at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Iowa City with the Reverend Kyle Otterbein officiating. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 5p.m. Sunday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for Tammys children. Tammy Lynn Ceynar Delaney was born June 21, 1968, in Iowa City the daughter of Raymond Gene and Sally Jo Louise (Koepp) Ceynar. She graduated from Clear Creek High School in 1986. After receiving her CNA degree she worked as a CNA, and later in the Radiology Department of the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics where she was employed at the time of her death. Tammy was raised in the Oxford area and had lived outside this area for a number of years before returning and residing in North Liberty the past couple of years. She was married to Casey Delaney later divorcing. Her family includes her three children, Mikel, Heather, and Jonathan Delaney; parents, Raymond and Sally Ceynar of Oxford; brother and his wife, Daniel and Julie Ceynar of North Liberty; nephew, Ryan Ceynar; Tammys grandmother, Rose Ceynar of Oxford, and Tammys childrens grandparents, Frank and Ann Delaney of Lansing, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Ceynar, George and Jeanette Koepp; and a nephew, Nicholas Ceynar.
