Obituary of Mildred N. Brown

Mildred N. Brown, age 86 formerly of Iowa City died May 22, 2004, at the home of her daughter in Aurora, Colorado following a long illness. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Oakland Cemetery in Iowa City with the Reverend Judy Gingerich officiating. Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Services are caring for Mildred’s family and her services. Mildred and her husband, Gordon Brown lived in Iowa City over thirty years, owning and operating Brown’s Floor Covering for many of those years. They were members of White Shrine and the Masonic Lodge. Her family includes a son, Larry Lasouard of Aurora, IL; daughters, Penny Davis of Minneapolis, MN, and Candy Tuttle of Aurora, CO; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
