Obituary of Sophie Zimba

Sophie Zimba, 90, formerly of Sellersville, PA, died peacefully on November 11, 2006 at Legacy Gardens in Iowa City, Iowa. Born in Chester, PA, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Maryanne (Tomaka) Lesko. She was the wife of the late Stanley Zimba who passed away in November 2001. Mrs. Zimba was a seamstress working most of her life at Royal Pants Factory and H. & F. Mfg. in Perkasie. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, and spending time with her family. She is survived by two daughters: Patricia, wife of Barry Greiser of Perkasie, PA and Lynn, wife of Bob Kirby of Williamsburg, Iowa; four grandchildren: Barry Greiser, Jr. and his wife Sue of Quakertown, PA, Tammy Dombrowski and her husband Dennis of Mechanicsburg, Scott and his wife Sandra of Philadelphia, PA, and Alexis Zimba-Kirby of Williamsburg, Iowa; three great-grandchildren: Ryan and Cory Greiser and Sydney Dombrowski, a sister Catherine Johnson of Florida, and a brother Edward Lesko of Sellersville. She was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Steve Lesko. A private burial will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church at the convenience of the family.
