Obituary of Mary Alice Gotmer

Mary A. Gotmer, age 55 of rural North Liberty died Saturday, February 12, 2005, as the result of a fire in her home. No services are planned at this time. Mary Alice Gotmer was born December 28, 1949 in Folda, Minnesota. She had attended the University of Minnesota, the University of Iowa, and was currently enrolled at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. She has worked for Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids the last number of years. Her daughter, Catherine “Cat” Cassel of Iowa City survives. Mary was married to Brent D. Cassel until his death on November 19, 2004.
