Obituary of Emma Sophie Schwab

Emma Sophie Schwab, 99, of Oxford, died Thursday September 29, 2005, at Rose Haven Nursing Home in Marengo, Iowa. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Monday, October 3, 2005, at Oxford United Methodist Church with the Reverend Diane Officiating. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 6pm at Gay and Ciha Funeral Home in Oxford. Emma attended country school in the Oxford area. She married Charles Schwab. Her family includes two daughters Mary Prizler of Williamsburg and Freida Schwab of Oxford; 2 grand-sons, 7 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother, and two sisters. Gay & Giha Funeral and Cremation Services of Oxford is caring for Emma’s family and her services.
