Obituary of Paula Dunshee

Paula M.Cochran Dunshee, age 41 of rural Oxford died at her home Friday, October 20, 2006 following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 23, 2006, at Grace United Methodist Church in Tiffin with the Reverend Beverly Marshall-Goodell officiating. Burial will be at the Oxford Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7pm Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Paula’s memory. Paula Michelle Cochran was born November 4, 1964, in Iowa City the daughter of Larry and Juanita (Frese) Cochran. She attended Clear Creek Schools, graduating with the class of 1983. On March 2, 1991, she married Frank Dunshee in Iowa City. She had lived in Lawton, OK where she and her husband owned and operated a business. She returned to the Oxford area as her health deteriorated. In her youth she was a member of the Iowa Quarter Horses Association, and in Lawton, OK she and her husband, Frank belong to a musical band. Her family includes her husband, Frank; mother, Juanita Cochran of Oxford; father and his wife, Larry and Gail Cochran of Oxford; brother and his wife, Jeff and Chris Cochran of Oxford; sister and her husband, Lisa and Phil Feinberg of West Point, IA; grandmother, Leona Cochran of Oxford; nieces and nephews, including Tanner Cochran, Shelby Cochran, Arron Feinberg, and other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Isabelle Frese, and grandfathers, Ivan Frese and John Cochran.
