Obituary of Donovan B. Akins

Donovan B. Akins, 50 of 1100 Arthur Street, Iowa City, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at his home following a sudden illness. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2 to 4 pm Sunday, April 29, 2007, at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City. Family graveside services will be at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Coralville. A memorial fund has been established. Survivors include two brothers, Dale Akins of Bettendorf, and George Akins of Cedar Rapids; 3 nephews, and a great-aunt, Sarah Darby of Coralville.
